Before you even start studying for the AP Human Geography exam, it’s helpful to know how the exam is structured. There are two sections on the exam, each counting for half of your score. In Section I, you have 60-minutes to answer 75 multiple-choice questions. Section II consists of 3 free-response essay questions, with a time limit of 75 minutes.
