2. Step-by-Step ISAT 2026 Registration Procedure
Registration must be completed on both the ACER candidate portal and ProctorU. Follow these five sequential steps:
- Create an ACER Account: Go to the official ACER ISAT website (isat.acer.org) and register with your full legal name exactly as shown on your valid international passport.
- Select Your Testing Window: Choose from Window 1, 2, 3, or 4 depending on your university application deadline (Window 2 is the most popular for Feb entry).
- Pay the Examination Fee: Pay the non-refundable registration fee of AUD $415 online via credit card (Mastercard/Visa).
- Schedule on ProctorU: Following payment, use your ACER candidate ID to log in to ProctorU and schedule your specific testing date and time slot within the window.
- Complete Technical Diagnostic: Download the ProctorU Guardian browser and verify your webcam, microphone, and internet upload speed.

4. ISAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

- International Student Status: You must be an international citizen. Australian and New Zealand citizens or permanent residents are not eligible and must sit the domestic UCAT ANZ.
- Academic Level: Students currently in Grade 12 (CBSE, ISC, State Boards), IB Diploma (Year 2), Cambridge A-Levels, or high school graduates applying for undergraduate medical courses.
- Strict 12-Month Sitting Rule: ACER permits candidates to sit the ISAT only once per calendar year (Jan 1 to Dec 31). Sitting twice in one year leads to immediate score disqualification.
