How is the final 1 to 5 AP score calculated from mock tests?

Your raw scores from Section I (MCQ) and Section II (FRQ) are converted using College Board weighted composite multipliers. A composite total of roughly 68–75% or above earns a top score of 5 in most AP subjects.

When should high school students start taking full-length AP mock tests?

We recommend starting full-length timed AP mock tests in February and March, completing at least 4 to 6 full practice exams before the official May exam administration.
