    About CUET Exam

    The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET) is a new age entrance exam held by Central Universities across India. If a candidate passes the exam, they can enroll in any of the 14 Central Universities to pursue their undergraduate degree. The admission exam is held once a year, and the exam for CUET will most likely be held in May. Candidates should study the CUET exam pattern and complete all necessary revisions in order to pass the exam. The percentage of +2 marks from a recognized Board determines a candidate’s eligibility. The 120-minute exam for UG candidates is organized into several sections, each of which requires some prior knowledge.

    CUCET and CUET are the Same

    The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will be used to admit students to various UG degrees offered by all central institutions, including DU, JNU, JMI, EFLU, and the University of Allahabad. The Central Universities Common Entrance Test was taken by candidates seeking admission to various UG, PG, and integrated PG programmers offered at the 12 central institutions (CUCET). The CUCET exam has been replaced with the CUET exam for admission to central institutions.

    CUET 2021 provides access to 14 Central Universities across the country; CUET will provide access to all 54 Central Universities.     CUET: Exam Pattern & Syllabus

    Format of CUET

    The test will be divided into 4 broad sections:- Section I-A, I-B, II and III. 

    Section I-A and I-B will involve papers on languages.

    Section I-A

    Subjects/ Tests

    There are 13 different languages—Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu. Any of these languages may be chosen.

    40 questions to be attempted out of 50 in each language

    There are 20 Languages—French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Sanskrit, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, Chinese. Any other language apart from those offered in Section I A may be chosen.

    CUET Domain Subject Selection- Exam Pattern & CUET Effects!

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to enrol students in various undergraduate programmes offered by all central universities, including DU, JNU, JMI, EFLU, and others.
